Core Strength (using some pilates principals)

Core Strength (using some pilates principals) is a form of exercise which is often used by Physiotherapists to assist in the treatment and rehabilitation of many conditions.

It aims to improve core strength, control, posture and flexibility to reduce the strain on injured areas, allowing healing and preventing further injuries.

Core Strength (using some pilates principals) often involves the use of a “Reformer”: a device which comprises of springs and a mobile platform.  The use of a reformer is generally performed under the supervision of your physiotherapist.  Alternatively, Core Strength can be performed on the floor which is ideal for group sessions and home exercise.

Core Strength is suitable for people of all ages and abilities. There are many injuries and conditions which Core Strength can assist with, for example:
•    Lower back pain
•    Neck pain
•    Posture
•    Sports injuries
•    Joint pain and injuries
•    Prevention of injuries

Performance Physio Group offers either 1-on-1 Core Strength sessions or group Core Strength classes.
